Subject: Crazy Fingers
This show deserves 5 stars purely for having on display the best Crazy Fingers I've ever heard. Yes, better than any with Jerry, and that's saying something. Lush, tender, meditative, this one has it all. I can't count the number of times I've returned to it to get lost within. Definitely a keeper!
Besides that, we get an incredible Cold Rain jam (28 minutes with intro!), a typically rocking New Speedway into New Potato, and a Bird Song that retains the atmosphere of Crazy Fingers while expanding it ever outward. Stephen > Eleven is always fun, and Attics caps the night off in a big way. This show is criminally overlooked - get it now!
